A man has been jailed after a police investigation into historic sexual abuse that dated back to the 1970s. The offences were reported to police when three different victims came forward over 10 years later.

At around 20:20 last night (20 August), police received reports of a fight between two groups of teenagers and one individual receiving a knife wound. Officers immediately flooded the area around Kingsthorpe Gardens in response. One teenager was taken to hospital where he received three stitches to a cut before being discharged at around 01:00.
