Appeal for witnesses after assault and theft in Camberley

News   •   Mar 19, 2019 14:17 GMT

We are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old was assaulted and had his bag stolen around 5.45pm on Saturday (16 March), in Knoll Road Car Park, Camberley.

The victim, who was with three friends at the time, was in the stairwell of the car park when he was confronted by the suspects.

They took his bag before pinning him to the wall. When he attempted to leave his path was blocked and he was punched repeatedly in the head.

The suspects then left the scene and were believed to be heading towards Camberley town centre.

They are all described as aged around 17-18 years old, wearing dark tracksuits and baseball caps.

Three of the men involved in the attack were described as white and two of them were described as black.

We are keen to hear from any witnesses who were in the area of Knoll Road Car Park and Camberley Theatre to come forward and provide us with any information which could identify the suspects.

If you were in the area at the time and saw anything, or you have dashcam footage, please call 101 immediately, quoting crime reference number PR/45190027909 or tell us online via http://surrey.police.uk/TellUsMore
