We’re releasing images of a number of tools, which we believe may be stolen following the stop check of a car in Ashford.

A silver Saab 9-5 was reported to be acting suspiciously early on Thursday 5 September. Following a short pursuit the car was stopped by officers. A 24 year-old man from Bedfordshire was subsequently arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, conspiracy to steal, and going equipped for theft. He has been released but remains under investigation.

A number of tools used by tradespeople were recovered from the boot of the vehicle. We are releasing images of examples of some of these items as we believe they may be stolen.

They include:

  • DeWalt power tools including a torch and drills.
  • Makita power tools including drills and a jigsaw.
  • Tech Met and Stanley tool bags.
  • A Katcher jet washer.
  • A Ferm hammer drill.
  • A Bosch air gun.

If they belong to you please call 101 quoting 45190093647.
