Man pleads guilty to Farnham restaurant arson

A man has been charged on eight counts following a fire at Heaven’s Kitchen restaurant in Farnham in the early hours of Sunday morning (March 10).

Police were called at 3am following reports of a fire in the restaurant which had spread to the flats above. Fortunately there were no injuries to anyone within the premises.

Giovanni Dell-Anno, 37 of no fixed address, has been charged on eight counts including:

  • Arson with intent to endanger life
  • Arson with recklessness as to whether life is endangered
  • Burglary non dwelling
  • 4 x malicious communications
  • Assault by beating

Dell-Anno pleaded guilty to all counts and has been remanded in custody until he attends Guildford Crown Court on April 11, 2019.
