Witness appeal after woman touched inappropriately in Guildford underpass

We are appealing for information after a woman was touched inappropriately as she walked through an underpass in Guildford in the early hours last Wednesday (4 September).

The woman was walking through a pedestrian underpass in York Road around 2.30am when a man walked past her and touched her inappropriately before running off.

The suspect is described as white, tanned complexion, 30-35 years old, around 5ft 7 tall with short black/brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue/greyish jacket with red stripes down the arms, and was possibly wearing blue jeans.

Enquiries are underway but we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any other information, to come forward as soon as possible.
